Driftless Area

Rating: 2, temperature: 89 ℉, condition: Flurries.

One more really hot day today, but things cool down back to normal tomorrow.  Watch water temperatures today!  If they get above 65 degrees, seek cooler water and give the fish a break.
Fish early and late in this heat, and avoid the mid day sun.
We received a bit more rain last night, but nothing to muddy up the creeks.
Tricos in the mornings, terrestrials throughout the day, and a few rising fish in the evenings eating a mix of midges, caddis, and mayflies.
Subsurface fishing has been very good on midge larvae and pink squirrels lately.
