Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 87 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

The good news:  Cold and rainy day yesterday has water temperatures in great shape.
The bad news:  It is going to be a hot weekend.  Remember to use your thermometers as the water temps will climb rapidly.  Anything over 65 is typically slow fishing.  68 and above can be lethal to trout.
Tricos in the mornings have been a ton of fun, followed be solid terrestrial fishing (remember your hopper/droppers!)  and then fish rising to small parachutes in the evening.
Subsurface fishing has been solid on midge larvae, as well as other small and thin bodied nymphs (pheasant tails etc).
Creeks are clear to slightly stained.
