Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 81 ℉, condition: Cloudy.

 Summer conditions persist.
Warmer and sunnier with a storm starting to roll in tomorrow afternoon.  The rains look like they will be quick and blow through the area without dumping a significant amount of rain on the fishery.  In other words we should have clouds this weekend!
Tricos have started to hatch and fish are rising to the spinner fall early in the morning.  Mid day we are fishing foam patterns (ants, beetles, hoppers) with a bead head tied on below.  In the evening fish are rising to midges, caddis, and a few larger mayflies (the parachute adams hatch!).
Waters are low and clear, with temps in the high 50s to 60s.
