Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 74 ℉, condition: Flurries.
Cooler mornings means happy fish.make sure to use your thermometer. Water temps are climbing rapidly mid day, effectively shutting fishing down until the evening. Clouds always help, but make sure the temperature bump is not too high.
Waters are low and clear with temps in the high 50s to 60s. Hatches are slim with midges and a few mayflies in the evening. Terrstrials and emergers are good on the surface, while subsurface is best on slim bodied bugs.
