Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Cloudy.
Sunny day again today. When the sun is on the water, the fish are less likely to eat. There have been some micro caddis hatches early and late, as well as some lighter colored mayflies and midges. Most of the surface action is on hoppers, ants, and beetles. We're fishing these with a little bead head dropper below them throughout the day.
Waters are low and clear with temps in the mid 50s to 60s.
Remember, fish early and late and find shade for the best fishing during summer conditions!
