Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Windy.

Fishing has been excellent in the mornings and evenings, but a but slower mid day.  Clouds will help quite a bit this weekend.
Bugs have been excellent with surface action available pretty much all day long.  We still have a solid caddis hatch, craneflies have been strong, mayflies are here (especially sulphurs), and we have even started to see some yellow sallies!  On top of all of this, terrestrials have been a very solid fish catcher.
Subsurface flies have been across the board as well.  Scuds, frenchies, squirrels, pheasant tails, prince nymphs, and cranefly larvae have been very effective.
Waters are low and clear to slightly stained with temps in the mid 50s.
