Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 60 ℉, condition: Dust.

Fishing remains strong in the Driftless!
The caddis and cranefly hatch has been solid with fish rising aggressively (watch for splashy rises!) mid day and into the evening.
Creeks are low and clear with temperatures in the low to mid 50s.
Today's cloud cover could produce a small olive hatch, which will continue throughout the weekend as long as the cold and drizzly weather holds.
Fish are happily eating subsurface on prince nymphs, scuds, and cranefly larvae.
Leeches, streamers, and even mice have been excellent lately.
