Chilly day today, with a pretty heavy wind from the west.Hatches will come later today when things warm up a bit. Most of today will be a subsurface day!
Fishing is still very good thanks to the caddis and cranefly hatch.
Fish are in the riffles and runs in the afternoons feeding on emergers and dries. Early and late they drop back into the pools and undercut banks.
The recent rains have not hit our creeks hard. Water levels are slightly low, and creeks are clear to stained area wide.
