Low clear water and bright sunny skies are working against us a bit for opening day on Saturday. However, the caddis hatch is on with both black and tan caddis hatching. We have also seen larger mayflies (March browns and Hendricksons) on some creeks. Craneflies have also started to make an appearance!Subsurface, scuds will still be excellent as will thicker bodied patterns such as hare's ears and pink squirrels.
