Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 75 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

EDIT: 11:30 a.m.  A few black caddis reported hatching on the Timber Coulee system.  Not the major hatch, but a good warm up.

As nice as he weather has been, we can't wait for the sun to go behind some clouds!
Sunny today and quite warm.  We did have a little more dry fly activity yesterday as well as fish feeding on the surface, but we have yet to see a major hatch.  Midges, olives, and crane flies are flying around, and black caddies are due to show up any minute.
Subsurface fishing has been solid on scuds, squirrels, and pheasant tails.
Waters as clear to slightly stained with temps near 50 in the morning.  It is warm enough for fish to chase leeches and streamers as well as vfeed at night.
