A little rain last night (up to 3/4 of an inch) didn't affect stream clarity or level much at all here. Everyting is clear to stained and still low for this time of year. Water temps are in the mid 40s and will climb a bit more with another warm day today.Clouds will stay in the sky this morning, which is excellent news! Expect them to start to fade in the afternoon.
We did see some olives yesterday, not enough to be considered a hatch, but it will be here any time now.
Fishing is still best subsurface on small, thin bodied nymphs, scuds, leeches, and pink squirrels. Fish are rising to midges in the afternoons and we have spotted a few lonely olives on the water as well.
