 Cold and light snow area wide.  Wisconsin's season is closed.  Iowa is open.

  Fishing is slow in the mornings, then turning on a bit in the afternoon as the sun warms the waters.
  Please be careful as this is spawning time for the wild brown trout and brook trout.  Please don't harass spawning fish and leave the beds alone.
  Subsurface midges and scuds as well as leeches.  There are also sporadic hatches of midges in the later afternoon.
