Driftless Area
Rating: 4, temperature: 67 ℉, condition: Dust.
The rain missed us last night! We only had a total of about 3/4 of an inch which will leave our streams clear to slightly stained with only a couple muddy this morning.Air temperatures are going to drop significantly over the next few days with highs in the 50s to low 60s!
It will be cloudy and cool and we have seen olives lately so make sure to have some small parachutes and emergers in your box this cool week.
Terrestrials will work well, but with the cooler temperatures they will be out later in the day. The morning bit will be on small mayfly dries and on small, subsurface bead head nymph fishing.
On the streams that are stained, leeches and scuds will be very effective, esepcially on a cloudy day like today!
