Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 83 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

An uptick in temperature and humidity means some uncomfortable mid day temperatures this weekend.  The forecast has it cooling down in a couple of days, but be aware that the heat and humidity (specifically on Sunday) will have it feeling HOT this weekend.
Make sure you have your thermometer as a couple of larger streams are reading 70 degrees in the later afternoon.  Fishing starts to drop off at 65 degrees and anything over 70 can be lethal to trout.
Terrestrials are the key as the trico spinner fall will be a bit lighter with the muggy weather.
Fishing some heavier, smaller bead head nymphs has also been very effective.
Fish early and late and avoid the mid day heat.
