Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 76 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Waters are clear to slightly stained with temperatures in the mid 50s to mid 60s.
Fishing remains solid on leeches and streamers on the stained waters.  We still have the bug soup of some yellow sallies, sulphurs, midges, olives, caddis, and craneflies hatching.
Terrestrials are working well, especially mid day.  Fishing a dry/dropper right now is excellent.
Subsurface fishing is best on pupae like flies that have some subtle flash and movement to them.  Scuds, squirrels, and pheasant tails are working well too.
