Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 82 ℉, condition: Flurries.

EDIT:  Clouds are spotty now, fishing is still good, but sunnier than expected or forecasted.  Find some shade and you will find more fish.

The cloud cover has been good to us!
Fishing has been very solid lately thanks to the clouds in the sky providing some shade.
Streams are clear to stained and flowing well, with temperatures in the high 50s to high 60s.
Fish are feeding on the surface on attractor dries, and in the evenings on caddis and lighter colored mayflies.

Subsurface action is best on squirrels, leeches, and midge larvae.
