Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 72 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.
Sulphurs hatching as well as Yellow Sallies. Olives were on in the clouds too.Waters are still up and stained on some creeks, but the waters have calmed down and cleared quite a bit on most.
Look for fish to be eating leeches, san juan worms, and streamers on the murkier streams.
On clearer waters we are seeing craneflies, midges, and a few yellow sallies. Fishing a large indicator dry with a scud, pink squirrel, or small beadhead nymph below is working.
The clouds will disappear by this afternoon.
