Driftless Area
Rating: 4, temperature: 57 ℉, condition: Flurries.
Sunny this morning with increasing clouds this afternoon. Even with the overcast weather, the tan caddis have been hatching! Look for them again this afternoon.Creeks are clear to slightly stained with water temps in the low to mid 50s.
Surface fishing has been best on caddis, but do not overlook olives that will emerge when the clouds are in.
Subsurface fishing si good on caddis larvae, pupae, and scuds as well as pheasant tail and other thin bodied flies in clearer creeks.
