Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 55 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.
Fishing has been tough, mainly due to the sun in the sky. Find shade and you will find more willing fish.Water temps are in the high 40s to low 50s. Midges and olives are hatching and yesterday anglers started to see a handful of black caddis hatching.
Subsurface fishing has been good on smaller, thin bodied nymphs like pheasant tails and copper johns in the low, clear water.
