Solid fishing lately!Light rain this morning that has been falling enough to get some runoff from ridgetops and fields. The good news is this is the first rain we have seen worms, meaning the ground is completely thawed and we should get a lot of water percolating through the system instead of muddying up the waters badly.
Expect stained water today with a few exceptions. On clearer streams fish will be eating olives on the surface, and scuds subsurface as well as pheasant tails and leeches. On the murkier creeks, try a San Juan worm, leech or streamer pattern.
