Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 35 ℉, condition: Thunder Storms.

The major storm passed north of us last night.  While we did receive some rain late last night, and there is a little wet snow falling right now, the streams are in great shape from what we saw early this morning!
Waters will be clear to stained area wide, with temps hovering right around 40 degrees.  Tomorrow's sun will get the temps a bit warmer and the midges and olives hatching.
Fishing has been good with fish podded up in deep pools and beneath undercuts.  They are eating mostly subsurface on scuds, prince nymphs, she hulks, and midge larvae.  With even a slight stain on the water, leeches and streamers will be effective too.
