Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 63 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.
Streams are clear to stained with the exception of the largest bodies of water. Everything bounced back very quickly from snowmelt and rain. With the warmer weather, the last of the snow is entering the system in the afternoon around 3 slowing things down,on cloudy streams, leeches, streamers, San Juan worms, and scuds are working well. Clear streams are fishing best with midges, and smaller nymphs. There are rising fish eating midges, and an olive or two have made an appearance lately.
