UPDATE 1:09--- A couple of anglers have reported fish rising to midges in the show. Still cold, but if you find the right water, you will find active fish.Season is open in Wisconsin!
Fishing will be tough today, due to cold temperatures. The fish are happy with water temps in the high 30s to low 40s. Streams are clear and flowing well, with the exception of the slower pools in the lower sections. Find the springs and you will find the better water temperatures and more active fish.
Midges and scuds will be the food of choice. Remember to fish them deep and slow.
