Cold again today. Out of the wind is pleasant, but the wind is quite frigid. Hopefully, this cold snap will leave by the weekend (SEASON OPENS SATURDAY!) and the clouds and snowy weather over the weekend will make it more tolerable to be out on the water.Snow is a couple feet deep which will make walking around tough without snowshowes. The streams, however, are free of snow and ice except in the slowest pools. Streets have been plowed to the shoulder as well, meaning parking will be easier than past early seasons.
