Wisconsin's season opens March 1 only 8 days away!The past couple of days have seen air temperatures in the mid to high 40s. Lots of melting! We even had rain yesterday which took a good chunk of snow away, especially on roadsides (parking areas!). The major winter storm missed us for the most part, with only an inch of extra snow falling.
Streams are still running clear and fish are feeding happily. bankside there is still about 2 feet of snow, so you might want to bring some snowshoes for next week.
