Fishing continues to be solid as we ease into the last week of season.Everything is in great shape, clarity is good, water temps are good, air temps are more than pleasant, and fish are happy.
Trout are rising to small flies mornings and evenings and in pockets of cloudy weather throughout the day, then taking terrestrials on the surface when the sun is on the water.
Fishing a hopper with a bead head dropper is deadly this time of year.
Subsurface flies vary from midge larvae, to larger hare's ears and pink squirrels. Just keep changing to find what the fish want as it can change from hole to hole!
