Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 84 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Rain last night was briefly heavy.  Not enough to ruin fishing for more than some streams this morning.
A little more rain is forecasted for today, but again, insignificant amounts.  Clouds are gone this morning, but should come back in this afternoon.
Fishing has been solid in the mornings subsurface, and a few streams have some nice trico spinner fall action.
Mid day, and into the afternoons the clouds have been burning off quickly and turning on the hopper bite.  A hopper with a pink squirrel dropper has been deadly.
Look for fish rising in the mornings and evenings, and whenever the sun is off the water.
