Tricos in the mornings, replaced by olives hatching sporadically throughout the day. When the sun warms the ground the terrestrial bite turns on, then olives and midges again as the sun starts to set.
Subsurface fishing has been good on scuds, micro nymphs, and midge larvae. Twitching the fly subsurface has been the key to triggering strikes.
Waters are low and clear and flowing very chilly thanks to cold nights.
There is a chance of some showers on Satuday night. If that light rain and cloud cover comes, the fish will go on a feeding binge!
