Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 85 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Warm and sunny this morning, changing to clouds and a chance of some rain this afternoon/evening.  Temperatures are starting to fall and will be in the high 60s by the end of the week!
Waters are crystal clear and low.  Water temps are still solid, with only a couple of exceptions hitting the high 60s.  Please use your thermometer and keep from stressing fish by not fishing anything over 65 degrees.
Fishing has remained solid thanks to the tricos and olives hatching when the sun is off the water, and some solid hopper fishing mid day.
Subsurface fishing has been best on small flashy flies fished near undercut, shady banks as well as tungsten bead flies fished in the deep pools.
