Solid summer fishing continues!
Water temps are normal for summer with only a couple of creeks (West Fork, Bad Axe) hitting the too warm to fish temps.  Remember your thermometer and give the fish a break if the temperature is over 65.
Low clear water means spooky fish.  Sun in the sky means spooky fish.  If you find shade, you will find more fish, and fish more willing to eat.
Surface flies that are working best are terrestrials fished right on the bank, and small mayflies fished when the sun is off the water.  We have also had success on flashy caddis dries.
Subsurface fishing is best with tiny bead heads, scuds, and pheasant tail style flies.
