Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Stable weather will continue throughout this week, with highs still not hitting 80 degrees!
The rain over the weekend mostly missed Vernon county, with only some light, soaking rains that will only affect a couple larger bodies of water.  Overall we are clear to slightly stained.
Tricos have been solid in the mornings.  Not heavy for the most part, but solid enough that having a few bugs in your fly box is not a bad idea.
Otherwise, other tiny bugs like a size 20 parachute adams and some dry midges have been fishing well in the mornings and evenings when fish are rising.
Through the day, smaller terrestrials (the hopper bite is OK, but not crazy good) such as ants or beetles have been excellent, especially when sunken.
Small bead head midges, scuds and pink squirrels have been good subsurface.
