Stable, mild weather through the weekend. Temps will not hit 80 again (Sunday's high is 71)!Waters are a touch low, clear, and flowing cool. Still use your thermometer, but some streams that are typically too warm to fish in the summer have had water temps in the high 50s.
Tricos and summer olives in the mornings, then fish rising to tiny mayflies and midges in the evening.
Mid day terrestrial fishing has been a ton of fun, with fish cruising out from undercut banks to eat.
Subsurface fishing has been good on pretty much everything, but scuds, pheasant tails, midge larvae, and tiny bead heads with a bit of flash or color are best.
