Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 76 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Fishing over the weekend was great!  The cool days and light rain kept the waters flowing well and clear to stained area wide.
Today will start warming up with temps in the mid to high 70s.
Fishing will be best early and late when the sun is off the water a bit.
Yellow sallies are bouncing around area wide, and we have seen some nice hatches of sulphurs too.  A handful of March Browns are hatching, as are caddis and a few midges.  Craneflies are still extremely effective as they are hatching all day.  Ants, beetles, and even small hoppers are starting to really get fish feeding aggressively.
Subsurface fishing is better on thin bodied patterns, followed by scuds and thicker bodied patterns.
Leeches and streamers are great, especially when the sun is off the water.
Mousing has really picked up in the past week too!
