Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 74 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Fishing was really solid yesterday despite the bright sun.  Fish were eating subsurface on cranefly larvae, thicker bodied patterns fished deep, and pheasant tails.
Surface action was hot on beetles, caddis, craneflies, and some larger foam patterns.  Don't fear the foam, it is starting to catch quite a few fish, even the larger patterns.
Waters are clear, with temps in the mid 40s to high 50s.
