Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 72 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

Caddis are starting to appear, both black and tan.  Subsurface action has been good on pheasant tails and pink squirrels as well as caddis pupae.
We've been catching fish on the surface on smaller foam patterns and have even picked up fish on ants and beetles lately.
Sunny and warm today.  Fish will be most active in the shade, and near undercut banks.
Waters are clear and flowing well.  Temps are in the low 40s to low 50s.
