Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 48 ℉, condition: Flurries.

There will be a couple streams running with a stain today, but most waters will be clear and fishing well.  A warm, sunny day could mean black caddis, and olives and midges are still hatching in the afternoon.  Fish are rising and eating emergers daily.
Subsurface fishing remains solid on scuds and pink squirrels in all water conditions.  On the clear waters, pheasant tails and other thin bodied flies are catching fish.
Donot overlook streamers and leeches as they have been quite effective in low light conditions.
