The fishing is good, but the weather today and tomorrow will remind you it is still winter!Today will be light snow in the morning, then gusty wind in the afternoon.
Fishing has been good for winter conditions with fish eating scuds and thick, fuzzy nymphs sub surface readily. Tiny midge larvae and leeches have also been effective below the surface.
There have been localized midge hatches, but until later this week when the weather calms down, they will remain spotty.
