Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 35 ℉, condition: Thunder Storms.

Despite chilly weather yesterday, fishing subsurface was quite good on scuds and tungsten bead heads.  Surface activity was spotty but will pick up over the next few days.
Waters are stained to clear and up a bit making fishing easier than typical winter low flows.
Some snow this morning, then sun in the afternoon.
Water temps are in the high 30s to low 40s.
Snowmelt and runoff have been low thanks to cold temperatures at night.  The water is in perfect shape for March fishing.
