Driftless Area

Rating: 2, temperature: 30 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

Yesterday was really good fishing during the snowstorm.  Guided trips caught fish all afternoon on squirrels and large scuds.  A few fish were spotted rising but they were sporadic and not feeding regularly.
Water temps are starting to hit 40 on larger streams and streams close to the springs.
Waters are clear and flowing normal for winter (a bit low)
The weather is getting warmer each day heading into the weekend when temps will hit 40.  With freezing nights, we will have a slow melt and good conditions for winter fishing these next few days!
