Driftless Area

Rating: 2, temperature: 33 ℉, condition: Flurries.

A good melting day yesterday with wet snow falling.  There was very little water running off, most was soaking into the ground.
Waters are at normal winter flows, not too low and not too high.
today will be in the low 30s which means a little melting when the sun comes out this afternoon.
The sunny days have had a quick midge hatch in the afternoon, but most fishing on opener will be with scuds, squirrels, and smaller dark nymphs subsurface.
