Very cold and windy today (wind chill -10) with some flurries in the morning. Better to stay warm and tie flies than head over to Iowa.Wisconsin's season opens on March 2nd. We have a small snowpack still on the ground and a chance for more before opener. We will keep you updated as season approaches. Streams are now flowing at their winter levels, but melting snow has raised them a bit as well as percolating into the groundwater. Things are looking good for this spring.
