Some more slow melting yesterday and continuing today. Water is getting into the ground as the ground is not frozen solid. Runoff and muddy streams have been minimal.Still a few inches of heavy snow own the ground means we should have good water levels in March.
Iowa fishing has been mediocre lately with a few midges hatching one these sunny afternoons and fish being taken subsurface on scuds and pink squirrels.
