Warmer today and hitting the 50s Saturday and Sunday. A bit of rain on Saturday (which means cloud cover!). Should be a great weekend to fish Iowa!Waters are clear and low. Fish will be podded up in pools and runs. Approach with caution.
Expcect lots of subsurface action on tiny bead head nymphs and midge larvae as well as scuds. In the afternoon with the warm temps expect to see some fish sipping midges in the runs and flats.
Do not overlook a slowly fished leech pattern right now. You can get into some really nice fish with leeches this time of year!
