Wisconsin's trout season is closed. We are fishing and guiding over in Iowa this fall.Light rain yesterday will get things rolling a bit more today with the olive hatch in the afternoon.
Mid day fishing has been slower as recent frosts have started to kill terrestrials.
Today is sunny, but the rest of the week is cloudy with a chance of showers. Perfect fall olive weather! If the fish are not eating on the surface, a grey scud or small midge or pheasant tail drifted through the deep spots will catch fish.
Leeches are effective this time of year crawled along the bottom, and some larger fish are responding to streamers.
