 Wisconsin's inland trout season is closed.  The Iowa driftless is open throughout the fall and winter.

  Early morning fish are eating subsurface scuds and slim bodied nymphs.  Mid day, the terrestrial fishing has been great with fish taking everything from hoppers to tiny ants.
  Aquatic insects are hatching in the evenings.  The major hatch being blue winged olives.
n leeches and streamers and mice have been good at dusk.
