Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 84 ℉, condition: Partly Cloudy.

Windy and warm today.  It will be tough to cast, but the hopper fishing will be excellent!
Terrestrials early and throughout the day, with the blue winged olive hatch still coming off in the evenings.
Below the surface fish are eating scuds, pink squirrels and midge larvae, as well as leeches when the sun is off the water.
Water temps are great, and today is the warmest day forecasted for a week or so.  This weekend is supposed to be in the mid to high 60s!
Fish are feeding well, and will continue to do so even on this warmer day as the streams have started to cool down into late summer conditions.
