Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 78 ℉, condition: Flurries.

A good soaking rain last night again dropped the temperatures quite a bit.  Another half inch to an inch fell on average which means streams will be up, but not muddy.
Look for scuds to be super active today especially when the clouds are overhead and in the morning/evening.
Olives have been hatching each evening, and will continue to do so.
Terrestrials during the day on the surface.  Ants and beetles are fishing better under the trees and next to bluff faces while hoppers and crickets are better in the meadows.
Thin bodied micro nymphs in the riffles and scuds and pink squirrels rolled along the bottom are the best sub surface patterns.
  Mousing is excellent!
