Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 84 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Warmer today, but cloud cover and some rain forecasted tonight, followed by another drop into the low 70s for the next few days.
Olives have been hatching during the rain storms, with fish happily feeding on the surface.  Terrestrials have been great all summer long with fish sipping the smaller ones (ants, beetles) near edges and underneath trees, and crusing out to crush hoppers in the meadows.
Teeny tiny stuff is working sub surface, as well as scuds on the days like today where we have some cloud cover, and on the days the water comes up a bit due to rain.
