Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 90 ℉, condition: Cloudy.

Warm and sunny today, but cooling off with a chance of some more rain over the weekend.  The showers we have had over the past few days, while not doing much to stain the water, have raised the water levels on some streams!  With the cooler nights ahead and the possibility of more rain, fishing should be great this weekend.
Tricos in the mornings, terrestrials with a dropper during the day, and rolling scuds and prince nymphs in the deeper pools has been quite effective.
Remember your thermometer.  Anything over 65 degrees and fishing starts to stink, while anything over 70 can be lethal to trout.
