Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 84 ℉, condition: Light Flurries.

After a really hot day yesterday, temperatures stabilize and will be in the low 80s and high 70s through the weekend!
Hoppers fished incredibly well yesterday even in heat that made your eyelashes sweat.  Fish were still active in the colder water.
Tricos are appearing daily in the early morning, the rest of the day is spent fishing terrestrials with a nymph tied on below.  This is summer fishing at its finest with the cooler weather hitting the area.
Water temps over 65 mean poor fishing, anythig over 70 can be lethal to trout.  Bring your thermometer and use it often.
